Project: You are required to write a 5-10 page paper on a selected topic of your choosing.  Topics should come from those covered in class, however, if you wish to pursue another topic confirm it with your instructor first.  A good approach to your paper is to select a country and identify and institutional factors that have caused or prohibited growth.  At the end of the semester, students will separate into two groups and present their projects.  Approximately 10-15 minutes will be given for each project, with 5-10 minutes of discussion and questions.
