Issue Analysis (7 Step Process)

After you have completed the additional research design activities, complete a Cycle 1 application. Including the new information you have gathered, go back through all seven steps of the Issue Analysis Process to create a Cycle 1 Issue Analysis. Write this Issue Analysis Assessment (Steps 1-3, plus matrix with steps 4-6) and recommendations. Each time you complete a cycle you should add more information on any step, and you should gain more expertise about the issue, what it means for your community, and gain confidence in recommendations (although they may change with each cycle).
