This is one of the most thorough analyzes I have seen of the problem of mental illness in the correctional system. If you get a minute, I encourage everyone to browse through the report. The core of the report is the the recommended framework (pp. 29-45) for treating inmates. What are your thoughts about the proposed framework? Do you think the proposed framework would help in the treatment of mentally ill offenders in prison and reduced recidivism once released? What challenges do you see?
