Stating the realist position on sex and gender, and using the writings of Ann Fausto-Sterling (in the module) explain why, in effect, intersex people would have to either lie about their identity under penalty of perjury, or to receive things such as passports, driver’s license–things that many binary-conforming people can attain, without lying about their sex-gender identity.
